Refugees need support to settle in well here. The AK Flucht und Asyl and all the initiatives cooperating with it have been cultivating a welcoming culture for many years. You are welcome to become a part of it and benefit from our extensive experience.

You are completely free to contribute whatever you would like to do: practicing German or simply making nice contacts, creative activities for children or accompanying people to offices or doctors, leisure activities in the accommodation, or simply taking someone along to a cultural event, going for a walk or excursion together, making coffee, helping with understanding and responding to official letters, getting legal support or translating - everything is welcome and perhaps you have some good ideas of your own that we haven't thought of yet.
